Anyone have last satureday T.Stars wheel section
I can't seem to find my copy of LAST saturdays (Jan 6th) Toronto Star - espeially the Wheels section. If you have it could you please check the wheels section - there is an obituary for a GM executive who is considered to be the father of the player's challenge series - I can't remember his name, and the Star's web site charges $$ to do an archive search
Thanks
-Andrew
EDIT:
I just got back from the public library and found the info I was looking for.
For those interested or with players car's/1LE's
Here is the bibliographic refrence: Toronto Star, Saturday January 6th, Wheels in 2007, Section G10
It reads:
Martin Chenhall, an executive at General Motors for many yearss who was largely responsible for the creation of the GM?Player's Challenge Series, died in December after suffering a head injury. He was 70. Everybody who knew him is invited to attend a "Celebration of Marty's Life" at the Whitby Yacht Club next Saturday, Jan 13, at 1p.m.
