Got some kills street racing last weekend

I usually go to Toms River, NJ to do some street racing on friday or saturday nights. it is the hot spot hundreds of cars, imports and domestics. Anyway, i lined up at a light with two mustangs i was in the middle and the two stangs were on the sides of me. the one stang on my left was a joke it was a 4 banger and it was black with white racing strips with something that looked like a snowboard for a wing, it reminded me of the batman car. it was totally stupid looking. then to my right there an automatic 5.0 and it has a complete exhaust becuase i have talked to the kid before. anyway, i had seriously the best launch i ever have had in my car.I was ahead of the stang to about 70, then he pulled on me. while this was all happening i looked back and saw the batman car about seriously 15 carlenghts behind i felt bad!!! But i am just happy i was keeping up with 5.0 the whole night

You're right. My car is so slow you'd beat me. I only ran a 12.8@109mph on Gtech with only 4.5lbs of boost. With the 8.5lbs I'm getting now I should maybe have a chance of catching up with your TBI. Just maybe.

I am only 21 but i think some young guys my age are pretty immature,i dont feel included when someone says that because a kid has a smart mouth he is a young punk ,i dont get smart on a computer, there is no point because your not face to face ,your behind a computer screen, what a waste of time, lets just keep the forum clean and not act like children calling eachother names,we are all here for the same reason because we like/love our thirdgens ,i hope, not to rag on people, some people i guess are just jealous that people hit 12s in there car and they dont have the money, time,or know how to do it,enough said.

hey im not saying there is anything against teen f body owners, now that i think about i am a teen f body owner, im 18 with one sitting in storage and one in my driveway so i know how it is, when i say "average" teen f body owner i mean the punk kids who dont hesitate to beat the living **** out of thier cars, the kids who can park thier cars in a parking lot with others, the ones who can pile up 6 people in thier back seat and clam bake a blunt. U see what i mean, more or less the people who give third gens a bad name **** me off. 88firebirdTBI i dont know for sure if you are one of these people but phrases like that make me think otherwise...

LoL, calm down guys, geeeez. Show a little love. theformula, i do think it was a little unappropriate to roll your eyes at 88firebirdTBI, we're here to encourage each other, not make fun of each other. SO lets just all take a chill pill and relax. He never said what year the 5.0 was, for all you know it could be a slow *** '83 carbed 5.0/auto, i wouldnt doubt a 305 TBI with those mods would keep up. I'm also 18, but definently not one of those 'average' stereotypes

To be honest I don't know many teens that have thirdgens in my area. I do know that the ones I meet all take care of their cars. I am 18 and I doubt many people can take better care of their car than I do. But I do street race and have got spanked a few times and I have some good kills. The reason I don't post anything here is b/c of the reaction of one of my friends when I was telling him about beating a BMW M roadster (the thing that looks like a Z3 but has the badge and dual pipes). He said there was no way I could beat him b/c my car was currently running 14.7's. My girlfriend was even in the car and told him the same thing, but now he likes to bring it up just to **** me off. Street racing is very unpredictable. Anything can happen. So don't tell anyone that they are full of it. Because even if they are, who cares?
Just my opinion.

There's nothing wrong w/being a teen. I was a teen once and I wish I felt the same excitement, in a race, that I dd as a kid. I had a 76 Monte Carlo w/a 350cid/350hp motor, when I was 14. I had no licence, no insurance and no reggie and if I was pulled over, I just got tickets. Those were the days.
I had many hot-rods and dozens of cars since but nothing beats those early days, when money is tight, winning a race of the light was the most important thing in the world, besides getting laid, of course and your car is your best friend.
Enjoy your teen years, kids! They will not last even for a second!
