lol, your worried about a Prelude Type-SH? dont fret dude, 5-speed 305's run low 15's stock, with your mods you'll definently walk all over him. Even my slushbox automatic can teach them imports a thing or two.

all i know is that i am pretty sure that a prelude is one of the faster honda things. but with a gta i beleve you will have no prob with betting him, just dont brake loose on a standing start.

I wouldn't sleep on him, have him pop his hood if he beat a 4th gen, hopefully it was a v-6 4th gen,him beating a 4th gen with the v-6 is possible since it runs low 15s i believe, the prelude should run low to mid 15s,the real bad boy honda you need to worry about is the type r integra, actually i take that back, the baddest ***** from honda is the S2000,it runs mid to high 13s,not bad for a stock *****.

S2000s are quick as hell you're right. Some guy on f-body.com a few months back got into a race with one on the highway and got killed.

Type Rs can run high 14s stock. I have seen some even push 14.6s. Their engines are VERY well made. At the 2000 import nationals there was a NA stock based integra hitting mid 13s consistently. Saw it with my own two eyes. Preludes arent slow. I wouldnt sleep on them if I were you. The 94 and newer ones can take LG4s, TBIs, and probably most 305 TPIs. The type Rs....I would even go as far as to say they would take a few iron-head L98s with them too. Most L98 owners I've seen run mid 14s to mid 15s. Put it on an autocross and it's all over. Probably the best handling FWD car in the world.

If you say you've "killed" a type R integra with your stock LB9, L98 then either

A) It was a fake Type R (to many of them!)

B) You're lying

by "kill", what do you mean? like absolutly slaughter them or just plain win? cuz you know late 80's-early 90's L98's were consistant low-mid-high 14 second cars. Now i take it that not every single Type-R owner can drive it like the guys do for Motor Trend, so i wouldnt count on them being able to get a 14.8 or whatever they're supposed to run. I can definently see a stock '92 L98 (some guy on here has a light blue '91 Z-28 L98 that ran a 14.2 bone stock) take a stock Type-R. and speak for yourself, cuz my 305 TPI can hold it's own against a '94+ prelude.

My friend about a month ago HAD a brand new type r integra, the real deal, not a bad car but i truly believe my 305tpi iroc would get him,he couldn't drive for $hit and smashed it badly, drunk and speeding and he took out a telephone pole and went into a bunch of trees, the car exploded and he got burns on his arms, the ther kid is burned up bad and is going to be in the hospital for many months.I really would have liked to have beat him with my iroc,i actually beat his brothers new v-tech prelude and him,i was behind them in a jetta and it was a foggy night, they were racing so i followed and we started hitting turns and i just went suicide and got them, they cant drive too well, otherwise the jetta would have been toast, its slow as hell but when it gets cruising it goes and actually handles great, brakes suck although, when those kids see me they still think i am nuts the way i spanked there cars in a road race, drag race and i would have been toast for sure,i will leave it to the iroc and run the prelude,if i beat him bad then i think i could have got the type r too,but if its tight then i might have a problem with a type r,alot of stuff depends on driving skill when cars are simiarly fast,my car should have very comparable #s to a type r so it would be a great race.

Iron-head L98s run mid-to-low 14s, everyone on this board can back that up, so if a freak Integra will 'push a 14.7' I wouldn't be lying if I said an L98 could easily put one away. That being said, I doubt your opinion means much on this board anymore, considering all your crack comments about 3rd gen drivers. Besides, your half-asian, you don't even look good driving an F-body.

The newer preludes are not as fast as the older ones because they weigh more especially the SH. The SH is the heaviest of all the preludes. The SH will run somewhere around 15.0-15.4 stock with a 5spd. They have a 2.2L vtec with i think 200 to 210 HP.

modded? yeah it has some

Easy there man. I haven't got a problem with Asians. theformula once stated that since he was half-Asian, he didn't look good driving a Firebird. I was referring to that.
