Cavalier z24 vs 305 tbi firebird...
This kid at my school just got a 93 Cavalier z24 with a fart muffler on it and blackouts.. I'm so tired of hearing him telling people about how fast it is.. He used to have a Geo tracker, so I'm sure anything over 100 hp seems like a freakin top fuel dragster to him.. I know my car is probably heavier and has more miles on it, but I really want to show him that my SLOW car can beat his "fast" car... My firebird has flowmaster exhuast, open element K&N and runs pretty good, no leaks.. Auto tranny.. Tell me I have enough to kill him in a race?
I've only really won 6 or 7 races, I don't even try against gt's or z28's or anything.. I've beaten a V6 99' F150, 94 Mazda Miata, 93 Chevy Lumina (heh), 99 Honda Accord (2 dr), and pretty much everything slower than that..
Some embarrasing losses: Jeep Cherokee v8, Some stupid crotch rocket bastard, my girlfriends 99 V6 stang (That one hurt, i hear about this every freaking day) and a VW Jetta (b*tch bragged about her car every day)...
What do you guys think? (Btw, once i get out of college i'm gonna get me a nice, fast, firebird..)

A jetta "in Nelson from the simpsons voice" HA ha! 
the Cavalier z24's 5spd's are fairly quick off the line and pull fairly strong to about 60 "my friend had a 93" but it should be no match for your 305. The lumina feels like it has the same amout of power as the z24 although its a six so i would compare this race with that one.

hey man, dont let that Jeep Cherokee be an ebarrasing loss. I dont remember which year it was, but there was 1 year that the Grand Cherokee V8's ran a 15.2....that even beats ME!

You should get him,my 305 tpi chewed a cavalier z-24 really badly,so line them up and tell us about it.
