87 Camaro 2.8 vs 96 VW Golf 2.0
My brother just got a nice '96 VW Golf with the 2.0 (don't know if its the 16 valve or not). Was wondering who would win in a race?
1987 Camaro Sport Coupe
Stock 2.8 (modified the factory TPI intake)
T-5
Pretty much the most basic model, no options other than A/C.
vs.
1996 Golf
2.0 (115 or 150 hp)
5 Speed
Completly Stock - very light
FWD
Just a fun race between my brother and I.

you would definitely take him the 2.0 motor's were slow for the golf's unless he does a 1.8t swap or swp in a vr6 motor he will definitely then would be putting bus length's on you lol

Going to wait until he gets a little more familiar with his car, and then try to talk him into going to the local track.
