What a way to end a horrible night
Well I was having a bad night at work making no money and ending up to be a closer. Well anyways on the way home, there was a 5.0 mustang wanting to play. So I said, what the hell help me release my stress. We went from a roll at 15 mph. He punched it before me and I let him catch to my door. Then I just gunned my car and just let him dust seeing my lights. My mood changed and I was all happy now. Then lil while later I spot a porsche speed through traffic behind me. Think it was a new Carrera. Well stopped at light next to him, and he started talking smack. So I told him lets do it. Light turns green we both gun it and I just start pulling away like 1 or 2 car lengths. Damn it just feels good whipping some a$$.

If you beat a new Carrera you got one hell of a setup in that GTA, those cars are quick. Now a Boxster I could see no problem, But the new Carrera's are like their flagship vehicle no slouches.

Well if you honestly want to know why i got on probation ill tell you. Long story , lets make a camp fire and get some marshmellows!
It started on a thread in the v6 section. It had a bunch of v6 guys talking about how they had traction problems with their cars and they were running 245 and up tires. How "they could stomp it from a dead stop and smoke the tires" And a bunch of other comments.
I went on with jokes etc about how weak these motors are and how "you should stop driving on frozen lakes and oil slicks!"
I found it funny that these guys had traction problems that SOME of the v8 guys dont yet have.
Well it wasnt my first time poking fun and making jokes so i got put on probation.
So now when i see a thread with some crap in it i dont make a comment i just pull the old flag out.

Hhhmmmm! Thats interesting, so like they must read threads and take notes "THis guys got a smart mouth and bad attitude" put a check next to your name and keep an eye on you? I see people all the time talking crap putting peoples ideas down, I mean without being competly vulgar or starting to threaten somebody with violence, isn't that what the boards are about? I don't know sorry I hijacked your thread PhyschoGTA, I have just noticed a few people on probation lately and wondered what it took to get so noticed.

Car: 1988 GTA
Engine: 5.7L/L98
Transmission: 700r4
Specification and Performance
Length : 174 in.
Width : 69 in.
Height : 51 in.
Front Track : 58 in.
Rear Track : 58 in.
Weight : 2910 lbs
Wheelbase : 92 in.
Displacement : 3387 cc
Transmission : 6-speed manual
Engine Type : DOHC Flat 6
Top Speed : 175 mph
0-60 mph : 5.2 s
Horsepower : 296 HP @ 6800
Torque : 258 ft lb @ 4600
Heres the only 1/4 time I could find:
1999 Porsche 911 Carrera 4.9 13.4
So the standard Carrera is not unbeatable but its in the low 13's haven't seen to many GTA's there. Not that with real motor work it can't be done thats why I said he must have one hell of a setup.
PS: Did it look like this

What's up people. Man it's a Mad House in here. Sorry but I did some research and it's the Boxster, don't know if it was the S or not. It had some wide tires in the back, so I thought I was a special Porsche. Next time I will tell the guy to pull over and ask all the info the guy has about his car. So no one gets there underwear all bunched up and waves the flag

That makes more sense Boxsters are in the mid 14's with a good driver but I bet most on the road would be pulling 15's in the 1/4 because they can't drive that well.

Its a Porsche and your still in an Fbody, not quite the same thing! The price argument go way back, remember, not everyone goes for 1/4 times, some people like handeling, braking, and luxury all wrapped up in a car with a big name on it like Porsche!
