no offence to you but aren't the 82 z28's fairly slow as it is?

somewhere around the high 15's low 16 range correct?

I'm assume it is a driver race

but honest truth I don't know for sure about the 240sx

its not all that fast, but fast enough, excpet for that the damn smog pump pulley up and snaped off earlier on my way to work. so now i'm running it without and its so much better. but i cancled the race cause i thought something else was wrong and i had to figure it out after i got off

update

alright, everything is good with my car now, and the race is set for 1:15 today. This kid in his 240sx is going to race an 86-87 iroc that is all stock and is in real bad condition (it runs like ****). then i will race the winner. just for fun. the bet is simply whoever wins fills the other persons gas tank.

kicked his ***, along with the iroc and a 95 chevy truck with a 350

the 240 and the iroc turn onto the high way at go WOT and i'm right behind then, drop it to second, WOT as soon as i clear the corner, about the time i hit 80 i was about a car on the 240 and two on the iroc. we go to the next stoplight and the kid in the iroc flips a U turn in the middle of the highway, during the middle of the day. The kid in the truck catches up with me and the kid in the nissan. He wants to go against me back down the highway so i'm like okay. i lead out onto the highway, wait till he moves to go around me in the truck, downshift to second and he never even hit my door.

freaking fun time.
