Trouble with fuel rail

I知 a bit new to third gens, so bear with me. I got an 89 2.8l firebird that I知 fixing up. Was sitting for a while before I bought it. In an attempt to get it fired up I took the fuel rail out along with the injectors to clean them good and replace the O rings. After re-assembly I can稚 get the injectors to seat properly. Fuel started leaking everywhere. Does anyone have some tricks they use to get the seal right? Thanks!

I slicked mine up first with a little motor oil.

Re: Trouble with fuel rail

lubricate the upper orings with liquid dish soap, then try installing them into the intake manifold first and then the rail.....check your orings, make sure you don't have a tear in one
