Blue-Print (Brand) Castings (Blocks and Heads)

I am looking to see if any of you have experience with Blue-Print Cylinder-Block Castings, or even Cylinder-Head Castings?

Since 2008, there have been a tremendous amount of Automotive and Motorsports Aftermarket Parts Company changes.
Some going out of business, some being bought-out/ merging, and some completely changing what products they offer.

Many Products that i used to use, don't exist anymore...
Also, good used Production Cylinder-Blocks and Cylinder-Heads are getting very difficult to find.
Try finding a good used 2-Bolt 400 SBC Block!

I can of course purchase a new Dart Block (if within the budget)...
But I can machine a 2-Bolt 400 SBC for Splayed 4-Bolt Main-Caps...
And build a Turbocharged combination for 1,000 to 1,200 HP, very inexpensively.

Anyone with experience with Blue-Print or another similar Company/ Product...
Please share your experience.

I know several people using the Blueprint aluminum heads and Ive heard no complaints. My nephew and a few friends of mine run the crate Blueprint 383 and they are pretty strong with great manners as they drive them all over to shows.

That is excellent to hear!

How do the Castings that you have seen look?
Hopefully they do not look like junk...
Or at the least look like a decent Factory Casting.

Blueprint changed their 200cc heads to the generic castings that go by many names these days. ebay heads, NKB, KMJ, AFR and Chad Speier even sold some. I bought some blems of the old version. Their blocks are suppose to be decent but never used one myself, think they are comparable to SHP blocks but not real strong like the Dart M blocks or World.
