Valve Covers - Where to Buy
I am in process of detailing under the hood of my '84 T/A 305. I want to repaint intake manifold, valve covers, water pump, etc.
The intake manifold is removed. When I attempted to remove the valve covers, I discovered that they are literally "glued" to the heads. The only way I can remove them is to destroy them in the process. Question is - Where can I buy new, preferably, stock valve covers. Otherwise I will be looking aftermarket and suggestions there would also be requested.

Glued? Or just baked on? Work around the edge with a soft blade and try to pop them up. They are more robust than you think. Even if you ruin them, I'd imagine 2 minutes on ebay can yield you replacements.

Bop them with a soft deadblow and pry carefully at the edges. Once the seal is broken, the rest should follow.

Re: Valve Covers - Where to Buy
Earlier this morning, I took my heat guns & used it on the perimeter of each valve cover & with a little persuasion from hammer & a piece if 2x6, they both loosened & I was able to remove them. There was some damage from yesterday's attempts but I was able to repair the covers. Thus, I do not have to spend money for new covers.
