$100 ebay fabricated valve covers
How well do the cheap ebay fabricated perimeter bolt valve covers seal to the head?
With center bolt covers, do aftermarket ones clear larger roller rockers? Or is it more the bolt tubes interfere no matter what?

Re: $100 ebay fabricated valve covers
I got perimeter covers off of ebay.
Then welded bungs on them, then powdercoated them.
All that extra work was WAY more money than the original covers, lol
They seal ok. I use the thick blue Felpro gaskets.

And no issues with clearances

Re: $100 ebay fabricated valve covers
I got the covers a bit ago. They look pretty good. The sealing flange isn't flat but I hope the thick rubber steel core gaskets will seal up.
I opted for the tall version, but I am thinking I should have got the short as it looks like the 1987 AC compressor tubes will interfere with the drivers side cover.
