Rear Axle U bolt broken, replacement part#???

Did a quick search and did not have much luck on where to find replacement U bolts for the sway bar bracket, I broke a bolt when replacing the seat bar for paint and new greasable bushingS. It does not look like an exhaust style clamp will work.

Discontinued by GM. I guess your best bet to find a used one through this forum in the "wanted" section.

I’m going to try my local dealer to see if they have anything that will work, then try O’reillys and see if they have a clamp that will.

Thanks for the replies, O’Reillys had a 2.5 inch exhaust clamp that worked perfect. I am cleaning up/painting the base that came from the factory to reuse with the new U bolt.

You could take a piece of allthread and just bend it around the axle tube.
