I am attempting to have my Supperram plenum and runners installed back on to my car but I don't have the gasket set. I ordered 2 sets from LPE but they are back ordered until 3/30. Is there an alternative? I believe I have the gasket for the lid so it would be just for the plenum to runners and runners to base. I thought I remember people cutting their own gaskets with a certain material.

The auto parts stores near me have sheets or rolls of gasket material.

If they are thin gaskets , a piece of beer or soda box and a little permatex no 2 or some insta gasket coating work wonders in a pinch. Have made several gaskets for heavy equipment this way in the field as a service tech. Not as good as a factory gasket but when your in the middle of no where with no parts in sight it works.

Yeah i used a cornflakes box at one point... itll probably outlast the vehicle.

Get the appropriate material in a sheet at the store. Lay it on the parts, tap with a hammer, cut where the part makes the impression, with a razor blade.

Awesome. Thank you! I did a quick search on their website prior to ordering from LPE and it didn't come up. I guess I assumed no one else sold them anymore. Just ordered two sets and they'll be here tomorrow.
