Q.O.L. Question 305 valve lashing

Hey there guys. Regular lurker first time poster. This is not another "How do I lash valves thread?" Just a quick question about the coolant hoses on the passenger side of the engine by the ac on top of the valve cover. 305 l04 engine(?) 627 block #

When you guys are lashing valves do you just pick that hose cluster up and "fold" (not really obv) them back or do you remove them to make it easier?

I would just go look but my release cables stretched. Not fighting with that in the monsoon we've been having lol.

Elastic bungee cords are handy sometimes.

Not the best pic... But if you really squint hard you can probably see there's a nylon strap looped through the heater valve and tied off to the hood hinge. Never actually removed the hoses any further than this... Been inside the valve covers a dozen times, always just swing the valve out of the way and tuck it in someplace or tie it off. When something springs a leak, I'm sure I'll know why, but so far, so good.

Awesome actually. Not a lot of weight and you don't have to keep finding something to hold them out of the way. I'll be stealing that idea drew ty
