Fuel return line problem
I just did an engine swap from 350 tpi to carb 383 stroker 500hp. I have the car running but its running very rich. My regulator is return style with 6an braided hose that runs to the factory hard lines. The problem im having is i cant adjust the regulator down to 6 psi that i need for the carburetor. I disconnected the return line that goes to the factory return line turn the pump on ran the hose in a bucket and i could adjust the pressure no problem. So either the factory return line is blocked or its too small im thinking. Does anyone know if the return line on the sender is larger then the return line. On the car. If so i was just going to replace the return line on the car and run it to the sender if notany ideas on how to add a larger one to the gas tank. Any ideas would be helpful
thanks
