I bought a mr gasket chrome oil dipstick and tube...
I put it in and in my haste threw my old one away and im not sure if it had a oring on it....
the new one seems kinda sloppy in the block hole and its leaking oil...


I cant believe that the mr gasket tube didn't have one with it....


can anyone tell me sure if it does???

Most stock style dipstick tubes are press in. They are fun to do w/o the proper tool and engine in car. If its sloppy, something doesnt seem right to me..

Yep, should be a push fit with a gasket I believe. I remember changing mine was kind of a PITA for what I thought it was going to be. Mine will rotate / spin easily, but there is no up/down/left/right play
