Help with possible issues

So, I have a 1988 Firebird with a 2.8L V6 engine. I recently bought it and I've been doing basic maintenance on it. It had been about 5 months since it was last driven and it had it's own slew of problems before I got it. I've replaced the spark plug wires and the copper hose that runs from the EGR to the engine, at this point I've only gotten two error codes. Error code 22 and Error code 32, I've driven this car a lot the past week and these are the only two codes that have shown up consistently even with all the work I've done. What I want to know is what could be causing these codes to show up and what can be done to fix the problems. If it helps at all I experience a high idle range when I do a cold start and the Idle range becomes more normal when I reach operating temperature, when driving my transmission will shift at higher RPM then normal, which it hadn't started doing until my idle RPM started getting higher. My EGR valve also makes weird rattling noises when the throttle is tapped. I guess it's also worth mentioning that a majority of the vacuum hoses have broken in the past and have been repaired with fuel line. We had a mechanic look at it and said that those wouldn't be the problem and that if we had replaced the copper hose (it had a 3/16 sized drill bit hole in it covered with putty and a plumbers clamp) it most likely would've fixed the problem although it hasn't. Me and my dad are at a loss at what the problem could be so I was wondering if you guys have had any experience with these kind of problems in the past. Thanks for taking the time to read my post and any help is appreciated.

Re: Help with possible issues

Good luck with the 32. I have a 92 L98 with a new egr valve, new egr solenoid, new ecm, continuity and power at the egr connector, clear vacuum lines, good vacuum from the ported tb line and am STILL throwing a code 32 every time I get 5-6 miles down the hyway. I have no freakin clue, wish someone would tell me what to do. The only thing I havent done is pull and clean the intake.
