Engine: 350 880 block
Transmission: 700r4
question
this is what i have i have a vortec 350 with 193 heads but i pulled those and i am going to go with my 1989 Corvette Aluminum Cylinder Heads, GM 14101128 my question is do i still have to use self aligning roller rockers

Hard to for me to give you a for sure answer without seeing them, but all aluminum headed engines I've seen either had guide plates or self aligning rockers. If the push rod slots are small so the push rods barely have any 'wiggle' clearance then you want NON self aligning (but I've never seen aluminums like this). If you have guide plates then you want hardened push rods and NON self aligning. If the slots are wide open and no guide plates then use self aligning rockers. Make sense?
