17 degree trans offset, can i install a t56 straight up??
I have a 91 camaro that im installing a t56 into. I have a weir bellhousing and it sits the trans in the nomal upright position, instead of the 17 degree position on our cars. Btw why is that way anyway? I looked all over and found very little info on it. So i want to know you guys opinion on using it. My buddy owns a shop and i can have him drill and tap the 17 degree in, but why if i dont have to. Anybody try it this one before???

T-56 goes in straight
Look at the shifter pad and the trans mount
