fuel line o-rings: need replacements
Anyone know what size o ring is on the feed line of fuel lines?
Any one know if they sell replacements at AutoZone/ Oreillys? Will regular o rings work or does fuel need specific type.
Thanks all!

They need to be Viton seals. Any auto parts store can get Standard Motor Products part # SK18.

Are these Viton? I picked up a little Dorman pack assortment of o rings for $8.99 from autozone and found one that should work

Re: fuel line o-rings: need replacements
Auto Zone sells 2 kinds,,, one is for multiple uses and the other is for fuel only.. Read the back of the package to make sure you get the right one.. It will say "fuel only" on it !!!!

For future reference: http://www.marcorubber.com/sizingchart.htm
I buy o-rings here: http://www.mcmaster.com/#
O-ring selector: http://www.mcmaster.com/#o-rings/=xtoll9
I know, you don't like to buy 100 pieces when you only need one. Believe me, having o-rings on the shelf is a good thing - they're cheap enough.

Re: fuel line o-rings: need replacements
My post said specifically that I like that I found the sizes so I can buy them in bulk... They are required to be replaced any time you loosen the fitting. They apparently seal by being crushed to destruction.
That's not the right o-ring. That's for the tube that goes into the fitting. The fitting that goes into the rail is much, much larger, and not listed there. I don't have one to even measure.

FWIW, some folks on other forums claim that the fitting o-ring is/was only available in the kit that replaces the entire fitting. There are also claims that the GM parts catalogs are incorrect and vague.
Determining what the o-ring groove dimensions are in the fitting might point you in the right direction.

Re: fuel line o-rings: need replacements
I'd much rather just get a whole 89+ setup from the intake manifold up at this point. The last few o-rings I've put in that spot have destroyed, because they're incorrect. If I take out the fitting now to measure it, I'd be SOL.

Re: fuel line o-rings: need replacements
I just wound up ordering a pack of -113 o-rings. O-rings I tried before were a little larger diameter, but only 1/16" thick material, and they tore. A -113 is 9/16" ID and 3/32" thick.

Re: fuel line o-rings: need replacements
I just want to update this thread. I ended up using that dorman o-ring and have had no problems since then.
