Car: 88 IROC Z/28-under re-construction
Engine: 5.7 Tuned Port
Transmission: It's in there....
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt Borg-Warner
I Can just Siamese the upper plenum/runners right?
If i do the this is it worth a little throttle response? and do i just trim the gaskets too?

I'm not sure about the throttle response, but you definitely want to match the gaskets to your new port shape. Otherwise you just wasted all the time & effort to siamese them as the gasket will be blocking airflow at best. At worst, you run the risk of sucking pieces of gasket into your engine.

understand that, so i can just do the upper plenum and runners and trim the gaskets then..

Just use a new razor blade to trim it to match the ports. I'd do the manifold ports too if you can remove it from the engine. You won't see as much benefit just doing to top side.
