Fuel pump question
I have an '89 Formula with a LB9. It's been sitting for a while and the gas is now bad. I'm in the middle of replacing the fuel injectors and the manifold/runners/injectors are out of the car. I was thinking of hooking a hose to the gas feed line at the motor, running it to a gas can and turning on the key so that the pump will simply empty the tank of the bad fuel. The problem is that the pump is not turning on.
All other powered items are working, except for the disconnects that I did to remove the injectors.
Any idea on why the pump is not turning on and any suggestions on how to get it running before I have to reconnect the fuel rail?
Thanks -

Re: Fuel pump question
The pump won't run for more than 2 seconds while the engine isn't running. Jumper the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure switch to keep it running.
