Car: 1991 firebird
Engine: TBI 305 (built)
Transmission: T5
Axle/Gears: 4.10
headlight motors
So I was tooling around on dome old threads and found a pic showing where the 2 headlight motor fuses are that I never knew about ... do I went out n pulled em n they were bad ... so I replaced them and could hear the motors do I was like heck yea !!! ... but now when I flip the switch OFF both motors go down but then like 10 seconds later the driver side pops right back up ? Wtf ? Thanks !

sounds like bad gears in the motors, because the fuses have nothing to do with the motor being able to hold the light up (slipping gears). I went through COUNTLESS sets of motors from local junk yards with problems like this and worse, LUCKILY they do a swap if bad so i only had to pay for one set. Finally got a set that has worked for over 2 years. Holding my fingers crossed!

They come up and go down exactly like tbsy are supoossed to but when u switch them off they both go down fine but then the drivers side pops back up

I think that's the symptom of the control module going bad. It's a back box on the firewall. Apparently the solder connections crack inside. Try wiggling it or tapping it with the headlights on. Maybe email Lon at top down solutions, he is very helpful and has replacement modules.
