V-belt power steering pulley??
Can anyone please tell me where I can get a 2 groove power steering pulley v-belt style? I've looked everywhere and they all say diameter 5.8" and the one I have now is like 6.5". Are they interchangeable? The part number on mine says 14023173 gm. Any and All help appreciated!

The one I have now is 2 grooves. Would I need 2 grooves for ac? I'm hooking ac up as well.

Yes they are interchangeable; might need to use a slightly shorter belt.
Virtually ALL 82 - 87 or thereabouts, carbed cars had the 2-groove pulley. The inner groove was for either a PS only belt, or for a PS/WP belt depending on the WP pulley; the outer groove was PS/AC. Primarily AC.
Yer local buzzard nest is yer friend. Go chase em offa their carrion, see what they're sittin on. Odds are, you'll find one. Anything with a small block Chevy in those years. Caprice, Grand Prix, truck, Chevelle, you name it; doesn't matter; pulleys are the same.
A 5.8" one will spin your PS pump exactly 6.5/5.8 times as fast. NBD.

Is it the 5.8" diameter pulley or the 6.5" like I have now? As for VATS, I'm thinking about just bypassing it if it'll work.
