please help wont start
my 305 tpi is not starting I replaced the injectors and the fuel pressure is good. I checked the spark plugs and they were black so I changed them and sprayed a little starter fluid in the throttle body the car ran for a few seconds and quit I pulled the spark plugs again and the new spark plugs turned black after a few seconds. what in the world is going on I have fuel and spark could my fuel be bad? the car has had the same gas for I think a month now. any help would be greatly appreciated because Im at a lost.

The fuses are in the fuse box, there should be two of them. You said you used starting fluid, that may be what is leaving the carbon deposits on the plugs. If its firing with starting fluid then you need to look at the fuel delivery. Injector fuses shouldn't be blown unless there is a short somewhere but you want to check everything. If the wiring and everything checks out you can get a tester to put inline with one of the injector plugs to verify or just replace the ecm and don't worry about the tester.

Re: please help wont start
Why?
Black generally indicates too much gas in the cylinder or not enough spark ( weak ) to burn the fuel properly,
But given your engine is not firing up then that color would not unusual.
If they are black after the engine has run and warmed up then you have a problem
