vacuum leak... if you are sure about fuel and spark the only thing left is air... too much that is... where its coming from is harder to guess.

could this be in the tune? i have a mail order from pcmforless......i would try the stock tune but i am using the mail order to bypass the vats. or what about the ignition control module? its the one that came on the cardone distributor.

Ok swapped in a stock tune an no luck fixing it.....also sprayed all vacuum lines with carb cleaner with no such luck......it started occurring shortly after the injector swap so I might swap in my factories to test it

If your brake booster has failed in a way that it's leaking vacuum , then yea , it could be the leak your lookin for with regards to your miss at idle .

Course , the next suggestion would be to disconnect the hose leading from the manifold to the brake booster and close off the end of the hose and see if the miss goes away ......

Re: Need help with intermittent miss

check the air hose mine likes to pop off and causes an extra 10k idle; misfire clean/replace hoses and replace plugs - fairly cheap way to start attacking the problem

Re: Need help with intermittent miss

Just installed the booster and still didn't fix it......I'm starting to wonder if maybe it's all in the tune......all emissions have been deleted and the plugs are new and gapped to spec
