stock lines with Boost!

So I have searched, but can't seem to find a clear answer, I'm trying to map out a Turbo build for this summer
Car is an 85 TA
Fresh 355, has flat tops in it now, but will swap those out for 22cc dish forged slugs

Pro-filer 195 heads
Comp 268h with 1.6 roller rockers
Pink rods
Stock crank
Arp hardware

Built 700r4, 2300 lock up converter, 9bolt rear with 323's

Am looking at a chinesiam GT45 and the biggest cooler I can stick in the nose.
My question is about fuel, will be using my current 750DP but hanger18 modified for boost.
I will ditch the mechanical pump. Would like to splice in an inline walbro 255 into the stock feed line as far back on the car as i can. Then retaining the stock lines to an aeromotive reg up front and stock return line off the reg.
What if any issues do you see with this and what limitations am I looking at HP wise.
I'm shooting for 12-15# of boost and will let the power be whatever it is at that point.
Any guesses on that last one? Lol

Just get some bigger lines and be done with it.

If you are going to invest so much into the build, why try and patch together a fuel system?

Call Inline Tube in Michigan, they will make you exact copies of stock lines in bigger sizes.

Well, mostly cause I'm not investing big dollars, Chinese Turbo and either homemade, or eBay Turbo headers, other then pistons the rest I have. Hence the cheap walbro's, or multiple cheap walbro's lol...they are 90$ though my supplier. I know in blow through config I can get away with more for less, just not sure what that's going to look like lol. Around here anything with over 400whp is fairly ridiculous. If i can hit 500+ I will be very happy.

I'm making 414rwhp with an in-tank walbro 255 and stock lines, stock oem style fuel filter to an aeromotive regulator. That's about 500 @ the flywheel power. Inline 6 with 10psi. I run 55psi base fuel pressure.

My carb 396 SBC ran the same fuel system and ran 128mph in the 1/4 @ 3450lbs. Roughly 550+hp @ flywheel.

Maybe you can make more! Report back!! I think twin walbros in the tank and stock lines can make more than enough for you but trial and error solves everything.

Mine was carb'd so I just have an intake pickup but no pump. I wonder if running 2 pumps in series will help with supply enough to overcome the stock lines. I have spent some time on Turbo forums and it seems like on blow thru applications a 255 can supply upwards of 600+rwhp. If that's the case my biggest issue will be my tranny living lol.
