error codes

i posted a few days ago with some problems i was having with my car..

*****question #1. only happens when i havent drove it like overnight or so when i start the car and put it in drive it will take literally up to a full min at time before it engages into drive and after it warms and it will engage right away. fluid is clean and full.

question #2. also when first starting the car sputters alot. almost sounds like its missing, i smell fuel. and alot of black smoke out of the exhaust. but when the motor warms up it respones fine most of the time, sometime it still hesitates or misses, i have a new air inlet temp sensor, the car does seem like its burning through fuel alot faster, might be running rich as well. how would i check and adjust that??

car is a 91 camaro rs v6 auto****

anyways i did the wire to the ecm to get the codes to flash, i got 4 different codes

13. Oxygen sensor signal stays lean during warm engine cruise
23. Low temperature at manifold air temperature sensor OR Throttle position sensor error
32. Fault in barometric pressure sensor circuit OR Fault in exhaust gas recirculation valve diagnostic switch OR Fault in electronic vacuum regulator valve
35. Idle speed can not be set to desired RPM

i do have the egr blocked from going into the manifold, that might be 32?? no worries if so. i was advised to possibly change my cts as well. but any advice to any of these would be greatly appreciated

Re: error codes

I was going to try and go into detail, but what you really need is the ability to see what the ECM is seeing. You need to check the power and ground pins of the manifold temp sensor plug with a volt/ohm meter, especially the ground side, a missing sensor will read as extremely low temperature to the ECM. Your oxygen sensor wire could be shorted to ground probably melted somewhere. Fix your EGR if you can.

Code 13- It is normally set when there is a open circuit or the O2 sensor is coated with soot from a over rich mixture.

Code 23- Look for a defective sensor, or a open circuit in the tan wire or in the black wire
