Car: 87 firebird did V8 swap
Engine: sbc 350
Transmission: 700r4 shift kit and stall
Cam question

I have a 420 custom ground cam it was a 500 lift ground to 420 will this work in a stock 350 and how can I tell the duration

I think to tell the duration you'd need a dial indicator and a degree wheel.

With these two you could tell the 0.050" (or 0.006", or whatever) lift points and how many degrees between those two points.
