Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
Might be one up front by the timing chain cover between wwhere the cover goes and the front intake gasket surface. There should be 3 on each end just above the cam holes. The rear ones are screw in where the front ones should be pressed in.
You can see the front ones here on my block. Note the block is upside down on the stand.
You can see the other three in this shot.

Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
As for the screw in ones like the ones in the kit you should only need 4. The one on the block deck/head surface and the 3 in the back above the cam. All 4 should use the same plug size. The one on the very top by the rear intake gasket is for you oil pressure sending unit.
There should also be a plug right above the oil filter but that won't be included in the kit.
EDIT: I Re-read you post and yes the one on the block deck/head surface is an oil galley plug and should be removed. Just don't forget to put it back before you put the heads on.

Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
I would remove everything and just note where everything came from so everything goes back I'm the right place.

Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
On high performance engine builds, we generally tap the three front oil gallery plugs and install pipe plugs instead of the soft plug style. This is especially important when the block is to be modified for a double roller timing chain.

Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
did you click on the link and look at the diagrams and pics? cheap steel freeze plugs are known for rotting out quickly. again, JMO. id through them away and use brass. see what a few others say/think. your getting good help, and suggestions though. its up to you to follow them, or not.

Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
Steel only rots if they aren't painted and have pure water ran in the block, mine are getting painted and using only green coolent so I'm safe

Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
I like to use brass and install them after the block is painted cause it looks cool. Just be sure to use some Permatex B on the freeze plugs so the don't leak. It also lubricates so they go in nicely.

Re: where are the oil galley plugs?
Old topic
but finaly here is a complete list for all people comming
Here by Google search
3 cupstyle plugs at front behind timing chain
3 pipe plugs at Rear above camshaft Cover
1 pipe plug on driverside deck near pressure sending unit
1 pipe plug above oil filter
1 cup style "hidden plug" under main cap to divert oilflow tru filter
1 pipe plug above chain cover
Following things are to mention:
Dont forget to Reinstall the hidden plug correctely. To deep will cut off your oilflow completely. Small Step in the drilled hole should Set the Dept rigth. You can also check via the 2 Passages from filter. The feed should lead above the plug. The sending Passage should be open behind it. You can check by sticking a long screwdriver trough the hole on side of the filterhousing.
Before and after Installation there should be the same dept reading.
good tip is to tap the 3 front ones to recieve a pipe plug.
but be carefull with the middle one. A few millimeters in the hole it meets with the feeding passage to de front camshaft bearing. Going to deep will endup with fine pressure reading on your Instruments but a quick death of your New build engine
If you are super concerned or building an Performance engine it is a good tip to drill a small hole in the left front pipe plug (not in case of cup style) for extra lubrication on the chain. I think grumpy has a good instruction on that. Just google it.
Sorry for my bad grammar and word choices.
