Found this lying around the engine bay

Transmission: TH400, 700r4
Found this lying around the engine bay

anybody have an idea as to what the purpose of this was??? it wasnt connected to anything

Kinda looks like a knock sensor plug..
I dont understand why they were bound that way..

i dont know... theres somany unused wire in there, its crazy. but this was the one that made me acctually laugh

Knock sensor plug with resistor mod to make it less sensitive.

that is the plug for your ac compressor and im guessing it was removed.

ac compressor, knock sensor looks like your fan switch plug not like that..

unless of course your car is like mine and some previous owners hacked shtuff all over the place....i had a maf pigtail for a o2 sensor plug...

yeah,when i got it the PO had lost intrest and didnt hook up the compressor (and im just taking a/c out completely)

Well if it works, its not that bad..
there one on the pass. of eng block.. and maybe the oil pres. snsr on driver side..

That connector, on my car, is for the temp switch in the head (pass side) or for the knock sensor (same side).
