how hard to intall and were to buy. factory fuel lines.

My fuel filter is rounded off and the filter hex nuts are striped. I need to replace the lines. now Im wondering how hard of a job is this? do you guys know of anyplace that carry fuel lines for a 91 formula firebird? do they come pre bent and ready to install? i know of one place class industries. Its really ashame that i have to do this. I would just cut the filter off and use fuel injection hose with a diffrent fuel filter but I want to do this job the right way and do the fuel line. I did not get under my formula to see were the fuel line connect to. I would need 2 diffrent lines right?

finelines and thirdgen ranch are 2 off the top of my head that offer the lines prebent. there are 2 main lines that run on these cars; the larger of the two is the feed, the other is return. changing them out is pretty easy, just need to undo all the clamps that hold them in place (i think you also need to remove the trans crossmember, but its been a while).

You can get one of these dorman repair kits at most parts stores, you'll probably need to get a bender to make the tight bends.

Abe, we can get pre-bent lines for your car. We don't have the TPI lines on our site yet because I'm working with our supplier to change what's included with the kits but we do have them. We can get them in regular steel or stainless. We use the best supplier in the industry and the lines will be bent perfectly.

I don't plan on moving the bird anytime soon because its stored away for the winter. but im just going down my list of thinks to finish on the bird. I can always take a drive down there. not far from my place at all. Thanks denny
