85 tpi will not start
As I was driving my car home one day it started popping and missing. I got out to check if any of the plug wires were loose, one of this was, but when I tried to restart it, it wouldnt crank. I've check the normal things thus far. Fuel pressure is 38 psi, it's firing, hasnt jumped time, and the ignition module I had checked is fine. Ive even tried spraying starter fluid down the intake, but it will not make it run, ideas? Thanks

Garantee you that its the ignition control module. They always test good. The reason is that fail when they get hot. I bet money that if you spend t the 20 bucks and buy one it will fire up first try.

Yes, i mean it wouldn't start up. The spark looks to be strong. After working on it yesterday I verified I had a full 12v to the coil which I did. The primary resistance on the coil is good reading 1/2 ohm and I work at a parts store where I checked the ign module multiple times till it was hot to touch where it passed each time. I would think it would start at least a little while and then shut off, if the module was the problem. Ill try a module today anyway. I do agree that it's some kind of spark issue because it smells like gas after cranking it. To me saying it's all unburnt. I'm open to trying whatever more. Thanks
