Low oil pressure, burning oil
Oil pressure problem:
When idling, oil pressure drops to the red line. Under acceleration, it jumps up to average, but at low speeds, there is a clattering noise once I start accelerating. The noise usually stops once the car hits about 30KM. What really worries me however, is that my engine seems to burn an excessive amount of oil. Every few months I have to fill it with oil. It isn’t leaking, because I don’t see any oil on my driveway, but it is usually completely empty after three months or so.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions you have to offer, thanks alot!!

1) if it's completely empty after 3 months, you need to start checking it every week ... never let it get empty!
2) You can tell burning oil - makes blue smoke. Making any blue smoke?
3) get under the car and find the leak - might only leak when running under load, and thus the "missing oil" is hitting the pavement when you drive, not when you are parked.

Re: Low oil pressure, burning oil
I have never seen any blue smoke, but I just checked and the exhast is pretty much invisible. Took a look underneath, but don't see any oil leaks. What I'm most worried about is that the oil pressure is at 0psi when idle regardless of the oil level. Same thing with that clattering noise - doesn't matter if it's fill or empty.
