How far do you want to push it? 600 HP should be doable in a well-built engine.

Not an issue if the crank is in good condition.

I'm running a stock GM crank in a 2 bolt main block, no issues so far in the 7 years it's been together. It's held up to whatever horsepower it's making plus a 200 shot of nitrous spinning 7000 - 7300 rpm.

stock cranks can hold a bit of abuse but if you need to have it cut and polished, with the cost of labor you are pretty much in the same price range to just buy a new, even stronger crank from eagle or others.
