Car Will Not Start

I Have A 1986 305 TPI I just put in a cam, intake, runners, new dizzy all that good stuff. Well i got everything put back together and im pretty sure i got my timing right but the car is not starting jus cranks and cranks. I have spark but its not the strongest, I also have fuel psi staying at a constant pressure but when we plugged in a tester for the injector wires the bulb would barely light up like theres not a lot of power in the system.... Wat I have been thinkin and told why it wont start is the computer, but idk how to test it and even if that is the problem i dont wanna go get a new one plug it in and fry that one up too..... anyone have thought or suggestions would really appreciate it thanks.

Re: Car Will Not Start

Verify your voltage source first. 12V at the battery, then verify voltage through the starter, etc. You said you have constant fuel pressure. How much? Have you tested other ignition components?

Re: Car Will Not Start

im gettin 50 psi at the rails and ive put in three different batteries and charged one... i took the comp board out of the box and could smell a lil bit of burning but didn see any burn marks that jumped right out at me. when i felt around the back of the board with the acc on I could actually control priming the fuel pump lol thought that was pretty cool, but also at the wiring harness you could feel one side get more hot than the other but not unbearable where you couldn touch it.

Re: Car Will Not Start

na i jus put in the cam and this wa the way i set my timin i brought the #1 Cylinder to tdc i then put in my dizzy in which is new too, set it at one and according to my chilton it says rotate the engine and stop at 0 to adjust the rest of your valve which i did new plugs and wires also. so another thing i did was switch out the ignition module inside the dizzy with an accel one and it seemed to be wantin to fire more but not much.
