Lights go down, dont go up
Yea so i have a 88' GTA in very good shape most everything works great but starting about a year ago the lights would sometimes go through a "phase" where the lights wouldn't want to go up for maybe a week or so. they always go down, not up. then it would go maybe a month working etc... lately though it seems like they never want to go up. still go down tho, so i can't just say screw it and leave them up. slipping gears?

Common problem. Check the terminals in the harness that plugs into the headlight door module. They get loose and overheat creating a bad connection. ~or~ The module may be going bad.
If the motors just spin and the doors won't raise, the biodegradable bushings in the motors have turned into breadcrumbs. Hawks Third gen has the Delrin bushings in a "get-well" kit that fixes them forever...
