Can you believe its been almost 10 years
Did you know you can stick a large turbocharger on a 3L Toyota engine WITHOUT MAKING A SINGLE MODIFICATION TO THE INTERNALS and make 800 horsepower?
Oh yeah, it wont last forever like that, the factory cast pistons will eventually crack at that power level after a year or so.
If you want it to last forever you just dial down the boost controller to 500Rear Wheel HP and leave it there.
Also, Did I mention if you blow the engine a new one is only about $1200?
I love V8 but wtf, why would i give up my 5-speed 500 horsepower 2800lb. car with its $1200 engine running on pump gas? Can you see why the dark side is so much lighter ? 3L = 150~ cubic inches btw
lol i forgot to mention the best part- 28 MPG and 18" of vacuum at idle.

You can't even compare an mkiv supra to a thirdgen fbody, entirely different decades and a used mkiv turbo costs atleast 4 times as much as a very nice thirdgen. Apples to oranges buddy, we're here because we like our cars, if you don't like em, you shouldn't be here.
edit: and Id really like to see how you managed to lose 400lbs on one of those.

First off Im gonna blow holes in every statment that you made, just to educate the masses for one, and two to try and drag you back down to reality......
Yor whole statement does not compare Gm motors to YoTaTo motors, it compares BOOSTED to N/A motors......and no $hit genious, boosted wins....Big surprise there do the same comparison with N/A motors or better yet to a boosted SBC and see what you get.....Now if you are comparing a Boosted SBC to your Boosted TaTo 3L whos got the bigger numbers? the only thing that youd get was better MPG, the SBC would MURDER that in torque, hp, and DRIVABILITY and DEPENDABILITY......because that lil ricerocket would be so close to the ragged edge that I would fear breaking something every time I mash the gas....You really think that the drivetrian of a TaTo is durable enough for 800hp you are delusional......and before you start to cross talk look, at the big picture and see where the "Deal" lies - total vehicle cost.....Third gen wins, TONS of aftermarket support.....GM baby, Duability...Gm hands down, Cost of aftermarket parts......Imports are Fuggin insane, Plus MORE POTENTIAL a higher CID means more potential........Now go watch that first Fast And Furious movie again.....That Charger threw a rod and the best that supra could do was keep up, ("and thats after we put $20,000 or more and overnight parts from Japan") and plus youll never pull the front wheels off the ground.....IMPORTS HAVE NO TORQUE......rant off
Oh and BTW you say 3L = 150 ci? so that must mean my 305 ci is a 6.0L.......why do I even bother?
