Alternator help!

I have an 87 z28 305 4bbl t5. Does anyone know the proper replacement alternator?

My 305 HO carb. motor called for a 94 amp delco unit.
I just replaced mine. Got it a PeP Boys a reman unit $49 bucks !

Your 87 calls for a 105 amp unit. Call your local parts house and
have your vin# handy. They can get you the correct one.

Thanks for the info. 180 dollars later and its fixed. Had to buy a new battery along with the alternator because apparently the battery got fried because the alternator went. I was pissed too cause I just bought that battery 3 weeks ago.
