Take a look

Just wanted some of your honest opinions on my combo for a engine im currently building, here are some specs:

-Vortec "880" block machined 0.030" over, tanked, magnafluxed, decked approx 0.010"
-Eagle 355ci balanced rotating assemblie, Cast crank, I-beam rods, KB hyp flat top pistons, approx 10.0:1 compression
-Comp cams 08-433-8 hydraulic roller camshaft, 0.520/0.540 lift, 110 LSA, 236/242 duration @ 0.050"
-World products Sportsman II heads, 986-16 springs, 64cc chambers, angle plugs
-Comp cams 1.52 pro magnum rocker arms
-Edelbrock performer RPM airgap intake
-Full MSD ignition
-Holley 700DP carb

from what i can figure, this combo should be good in the area of 425hp at the crank, what do you guys think?

Re: Take a look

i dont know what kind of car you are putting this in, but if your putting it in a thirdgen camaro/firebird, then you most likely are going to use shorty headers, and shorty headers will not clear your angled plug heads, believe me i made this mistake, you need to get straight plugs, just like the original L98 head, that is if you are using shorties and you do have a thirdgen chassis

Hooker 2460's CLEARLY state they will work with angle plug heads, ive gone through this already. the heads came off another thirdgen, and ive mached up the headers to the heads already, with no clearance issues
