Car: 1986 camaro z28
Engine: 350sbc
Transmission: TKO 600
Axle/Gears: stock axle with 4.11's
help me out moving to cali what can i do??
help me out im moving to cali in a month what motor improvements can i make to gain hp and still keep it cali legal...right now i have a 84 z28 with the gm performance 350 crate motor 290ho 326lf tq motor in the car...with all the old 305 top end on it...still have all the smog stuff hooked up...i am running a 3 inch exhaust to a flowmaster and the y pipe..and there is a cat on the exhuast although i need to replace it...
i just want to know what i can do to gain power and still keep it legal in california

As a not so proud member of california, Basically anything with a carb EO number thats 50 state legal is the only thing you can do. I am sure there are headers you can get for your car, aftermarket intake manifold, carbuerater, and you can get a little beefier cam if you can tune it out. Don't know how to do that on your carb'd application however. There is stuff out their you can do, just gotta choose wisely. No longtubes or cool **** like that, unless your like me and find the loopholes.
