Spark plug wires...Suggestions please
I'm looking to put new spark plug wires on my car hoping that will fix my troubles.
Just about everything on my car is stock.
I bought an accel distributor cap and rotor and now I need some wires. The store Im buying the wires from only carries accel 8.8 wires and champion wires. The champion set is $50 the accels are $100. Is the difference between these wires really worth the extra $50?

My stock Delco wires lasted 100,000 miles, so when I replaced 'em I put Delco wires back on.

Champion is a stock brand which are good for daily driving (in other words lame).
Accel is high performance for racing on the street. Thats the only difference.
If I was you I would go for the champion wires even though I drive pretty fast. Both brands are good.

I'd get the delco's, i alway seem most content with the fit and quality of OE that the aftermarket can't touch, even in a performance situation

Re: Spark plug wires...Suggestions please
i went with the champions, i thought $50 was a bit steep especially for the way i drive. Yes this is in canada. I dont really drive my car very fast, its more for show. In fact, Im still breaking in a rebuilt engine so Ive been driving rather slowly, ive only got about 1500km on the engine so i havent really seen what shes capable of just yet. Another question though, how long should you break an engine in before testing its capabilities?

did you get them from parts plus? besides i don't see 50 as being high, you get what you pay for
