Fan Switch VS LT1??
Hey guys, question for you...
my '83 Z28's old 4bbl 350 has a 200-180 degree fan switch (the one that goes into the pass side head) on it that runs the factory electric fan, and someone I know wants to try this switch in his LT1 swap car - will this switch work with the LT1 setup, or will it cause problems? I think the car is run by an LT1 car's computer as well, incase that makes a difference? Not sure on that though...?

The LT1 car should have the fans controlled by the PCM, so no, it would not work. The switch that is in your car is controlling ground for the fan relay, which has power when the ignition is on.

Re: Fan Switch VS LT1??
So how then would one change the temperature the fans turn on at? Computer tuning?
