roller cam to non roller cam?

roller cam to non roller cam?
upon finishing my 92' camaro project with a complete color change of the body, i've managed to Fup the motor, slight knock above 2,500 RPM. i have a 350 roller lifter motor i intend to put back into its place.
can i use my new flat tappet hydraulic cam in a roller lifter block, if removing the spiderlegs and dogbones?
my cam has a 106LSA 218 deg. duration @.050, and 450 lift. anything wrong with using this cam? do i expect low idle vacuum? fairly hard driver with a 5 speed car, i like to wind them to around 5,500. i will be using a 600 edelbrock carb and performer intake manifold.
it has 191 heads, i also have a set of 083 and 081 heads, research here says without any modifications to valves or porting, the 083s are the best streetable performance head, correct?
sorry if these questions are over-asked, i've looked at many threads and just couldnt find anything on using a flat tappet cam in a roller block, altho i dont see why not, and almost all the cam discussions i found of any depth were for TBI and TPI cars. i give thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: roller cam to non roller cam?
You sure can, I have an 87 block with a hydraulic flat tappet cam in mine. For quite a while now.
