Looking at it for a Gen 1 block carbed setup. And also what does PSI mean in the power steering world... is 1000 good? bad? average?

I run a pump almost identical to that. Works fine if you have the proper brackets, pulley depth, system converted over to AN lines, etc.
One of the biggest issues is the pulley depth in relation to all the other pulleys. On a street engine, probably not worth it.

Well, it's not really going to be a street engine, it's more of a track engine that's going to see the street every once in a while lol.
