Car: 92 Camaro RS Heritage Edition
Engine: 355 V8
Transmission: 700R4
Another Camshaft Choice Question
I'm sure you guys are tired of answering this one for all the engine combos out there but its starting to drive me crazy. This is what i've got.
355 Forged internals
Ported 76cc World S/R torquer heads
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake
Edelbrock 750cfm Carb
Compression around 10:1 with my current pistons
Probably will spray at some point in the future but thats down the road somewhere. Right now the car will be a weekend cruiser/ occasional track use. The cam I got with the engine has the following specs:
Engine Works
Valve Lift .480/.480
Duration @ .050 231/231
Lobe Center 106/114
What do you guys think. Is this a decent cam or do I need to go bigger. The heads are advertised as being good to .550 lift. I was hoping to make somewhere between 350 and 400 in the HP department. Is this combo gonna make it?

Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi with spacer
I'd go for a new design cam, with steeper ramps. Look at the Copm XE or Lunati Voodoo series cams. I'd suggest the comp XE 268 for you.

Engine: Blown 350
Transmission: Slushbox
I would have went with 11:1 compression and a 230/240 duration cam.
Combo looks good tho. Just change the little things.
