outer ring behind crank pulley is off

Car: 1990 rs camaro v8 5spd & 86 t/a 5.7 tpi
Engine: 305 rs-- 350 t/a
Transmission: 700r4 t/a not sure rs
outer ring behind crank pulley is off
the ring bhind the crank pulley is slapping around but the car sill runs fine other than that slapping metal sound what should i do

can i replace the damper or do i replace the whole balancer
im new to this and i thank you for your reply so please be patient

the only stupid question is the one you don't ask. it always ends up costing you money.
you can get loaner tools for this job from autozone (with a deposit).

is the whole balancer shot or can i just replace the elastomer

Axle/Gears: 3.08 9 bolt
They are around $70 for an OEM style balancer from most parts stores or summit.
