no, tpi is a form of multi point fuel injection. Tuned Port Injection.

TPI is the acronym for Tuned Port Injection, as stated above, which is a form of electronic fuel injection. Carburetors more or less use a venturi-style of fuel delivery. 2 completely different animals.
