Steering column question........
i switched my car from auto to manual last summer, and now i finally want to add the manual steering column so that it has the little lever to keep the column from locking, accidentaly in the event the car dies etc.....
i have the whole manual column but to make things easier can i just swap all the stuff, related to the lever and leave the rest of the column intact????????
probably not the best forum for this, but the highest traveled one anyhow

It's a whole lot easier to swap the whole column.... one bolt to the shaft, 3 bolts to the firewall, 2 nuts to the dash, 4 connectors, and you're done. Takes less than 30 minutes to swap a column in these cars.
