Adjustable fuel pressure reg

So I am putting an adjustable fpr on my 305 and I heard it should be at the end of the system but the return line isn’t pressurized. Can I just install a double feed to my tbi and not have a return on the tbi but have it running off of my fpr? Would this be ok

Re: Adjustable fuel pressure reg

Any reason why you need an adjustable regulator on this set-up? I would not dead head the pump without a proper return.

As long as you have some form of return line in your set-up you'll be fine. By dead head I mean nowhere for the excess fuel to go (return line), its just builds in the main line and makes the fuel pump work harder.

Re: Adjustable fuel pressure reg

WHY do you need an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator? What's wrong with the one you already have, built-into the TBI unit?
